Last week CLEAN-BIOTEC celebrated science week with two activities for our future scientists.
On the one hand, Ph. D. Javier Sáenz de Cabezón gave two workshops on soil biodiversity and the importance of taking care of natural, agricultural and forest soils; and also those of our gardens in the city and our pots at home to the students of 3rd grade of primary school of the Madre de Dios Public School from Logroño.
And, on the other hand, the Biology students of 1st International Bachelor of IES Sagasta from Logroño participated in a microbicide activity experiment with Ainhoa, Susana and Angélica. The students actively participated in the experiment for almost four hours. Among many other things, they learned the importance of planning and logistics of an experiment and especially teamwork to ensure that everything goes well.
