Last November, Francisco Javier Sáenz de Cabezón joined Clean-Biotec with a Torres Quevedo contract. He holds a degree in Biology from the University of Navarra and a PhD in Agricultural Sciences from the University of La Rioja.

Javier has a great curriculum as a researcher having been a Fullbright (UC Davis) and Ramón y Cajal postdoctoral fellow at the University of La Rioja. He has been principal investigator in several international and national projects and has published more than 20 scientific articles, several chapters in books, and has presented his studies at numerous national and international conferences. He has also worked as an expert, training technicians in the agricultural sector in Central America and the Caribbean at an international level. After coordinating a project with arbuscular endomycorrhizae, he has now joined Torres Quevedo with a contract to work along the same lines.
His studies have focused on the effects of pesticides on insect pests and natural enemies, biological pest control and ecotoxicology. He is an expert in biological pest control and ecotoxicology of phytosanitary products.
